Peagro Impex Tanzania limited was founded by Peter David Kulyakwave in the Dar es Salaam region in Tanzania (East Africa). The company started its services back in 2019 after realizing the huge gap which existed in the provision of agricultural services in Tanzania.

While the majority of the Tanzanians rely on agriculture as their main bread weaning undertaking, the agriculture sector itself is still at its infant stage. Thus, farmers and other various chain actors are facing various challenges to develop and transform their farming activities including access to modern farm implements, agrochemical, extension services, agri-finace services, and a better environment for business exchanges.

Although the Tanzania government is working hard enough including the responsible Ministry of Agriculture to transform and develop the sector there is a wider room for the private sector to nurture hands to join the efforts of the government. There were so many reasons behind the decision to venture into providing agricultural services bearing in mind that the world’s population is fast growing which translates to the increase of mouth to consume, and at the same addressing the unemployment challenges.

Therefore, and based on these grounds the founder decided to start this establishment to support the fast growing Agribusiness sub-sector in Tanzania, Africa, and the World at large.
